Lots to dissect here. Baron tend to be known for their hop-forward beers, so without deviating to far away from what they know best, they've created a more traditional Porter recipe, fermented it with a Belgian yeast strain and hopped it in a similar way to their IPAs.
UK hop Olicana playing a key role in its spicy and earthiness, working well with the darker malts. HBC 638 for some bubble-gum and plums. Chocolate, banana and spicy hoppy.
