Lorca is an Andalucian inspired spontaneously fermented ale using every variety of Spanish oranges from the 2024 harvests at a rate of 650g/L intensely fragrant and aromatic with multiple layers of complexity, bitter, sour, sweet with a touch of minerality. Terra – meaning land, earth. Tempo – weather, time. Based on a hop farm in Surrey this project, is a 100% rustic planet friendly process. No co2, no harsh brewing chemicals no electricity and the wort is made on a 10 barrel solar powered kit. This is the truest sense of sustainability.Ā  Hops grown on-site, consciously sourced fruit. The beers are spontaneously fermented via coolship but that is where the link to spontaneous beers ends. Lee Daniels, the founder, has been working in the modern ā€˜craft’ beer industry for almost a decade, so understands how to utilise the best elements of modern processes as well as ensuring that the worst elements can be rejected.
