Terratempo is an exciting new venture venture from Lee Daniels, previosuly of Cloudwaters barrel ageing project. Terra – meaning land, earth. Tempo – weather, time.
"Search" is part of the second set of beers to be released. Spontaneously fermented wild ale aged in Oak barrels, this beer was then wet hopped with the 2023 harvest of Farnham White Bine, Fuggles and Cascade all grown on-site then aged in oak for 4 months. The beer was then double dry hopped with Fuggles and Cascade pellets from 2022.
This beer is the truest, rawest representation of Terra Tempo
Based on a hop farm in Surrey this project, is a 100% rustic planet friendly process. No co2, no harsh brewing chemicals no electricity and the wort is made on a 10 barrel solar powered kit. This is the truest sense of sustainability.
The beers are spontaneously fermented via coolship but that is where the link to spontaneous beers ends. The founder has been working in the modern ‘craft’ beer industry for almost a decade, so understands how to utilise the best elements of modern processes as well as ensuring that the worst elements can be rejected.
